So, my sisters Brenda & Sandy came for our second annual Quilt Fest, during which it is 2 piecers (them) against 1 machine quilter (me). Of course I am already behind when they get off the plane since they bring completed tops with them for me to quilt.
Still, we were able to make some great progress on projects like......

Then my brother Jon stopped by on his way from West Palm Beach and we put him to work too. After a couple beers Jon can be convinced that quilting is just like tiling a floor (and just as manly).

Then Brenda went home so it was just one on one with me and Sandy. the problem was I was still behind, so Sandy decided I had to give up sleep.
And to keep me from lounging around the pool...
She chained me to my quilt machine! She was "kind" enough to leave me some bread and water so I could keep up my stamina, but it was inconveniently placed just out of my reach.
Luckily for me, Fluffy, my trusty Maltese came to my rescue.

But wait, what's this??? I didn't mean it Fluffy. Please come back with my bread!
And so she did, but not until she sampled half a slice. Still, half a slice of dog eaten bread is enough to help me meet my quota.
